About

Clarity, not another dashboard

Worth Clarity is a personal money app built by a small independent team. It started as one person's answer to a simple question: what can I actually spend today?

The story

Worth Clarity launched on July 2026 as a four-pillar ledger: income, expenses, investments, and savings. Bank balances kept lying by omission, hiding the rent due on Friday and the subscription that had quietly gone up. The first feature that mattered was safe to spend, and everything since has served the same goal: turning a list of transactions into a decision you can make today.

It is built and maintained by Tharusha Kulasinghe, who also uses it every day. Features ship when they are real, each release lands on the changelog, and there is no paid tier while the product is in early access.

How it is built

Next.js on the front, Postgres on Supabase behind it, with row-level security on every table and Google as the only sign-in. The AI assistant runs on Claude with read-only tools bound to your own session. The full security overview is on the security page.

Principles we build by

  • The most important number is the biggest thing on the page

Every screen leads with one figure that drives a decision, such as safe to spend or net worth, and everything else supports it.

  • Privacy lives in the database, not the interface

Row-level security isolates every row you own. Household sharing and the admin panel read aggregates through functions that re-check permission on every call.

  • Honest numbers, even when they sting

Expected income stays out of safe to spend. Overspent months balance from reserves in the flow diagram. The assistant drafts changes and never writes without your tap.

  • Built for money that arrives in pieces

Creators, freelancers, and households were the first users, so channels, deals, payouts, and shared spaces are core features, not add-ons.

Talk to a person

Questions, bugs, or ideas. Every message is read by someone who works on the product.

Every rupee, dollar, and euro, accounted for.

Start with today's cash and the bills you know. Everything else builds from there.

Free during early access. No card. Export any time.
